Jesus is the Reason

Isa.9:6, For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isa.7:14, "Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel. Immanuel = Emmanouel (em-man-oo-ale') "God with us" or "with us is God", symbolic and prophetic name of the Messiah, the Christ, prophesying that He would be born of a virgin (Mt 1:23, Is. 7:14) and would be 'God with us' because Jesus was God united with man, and showed that God was dwelling with man. Jesus = Iesous (ee-ay-sooce') "Jehovah is salvation", Jesus, the Son of God, the Saviour of mankind, God incarnate. Christ = Christos (khris-tos'), and Messiah = Messias (mes-see'-as) both mean "anointed", Christ was the Messiah, the Son of God.

Jesus Christ, the Son of God, born of a virgin is the fulfillment of the first prophecy ever spoke in the Bible, Gen.3:14-15, So the Lord God said to the serpent: "Because you have done this, You are cursed more than all cattle, And more than every beast of the field; On your belly you shall go, And you shall eat dust All the days of your life. And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, And you shall bruise His heel." God was already making a way for man at the onset of man’s first sin. It is interesting in this scripture that the word “her Seed” and “His heel” have capital letters in them and the only reason for this is because they are speaking of God. Women don’t carry “seed”, they carry “eggs” and the “seed” comes from the man. Believe it or not God is prophesying of a divine birth where He would supply “the Seed” to allow for satan to be but under foot. Now this prophecy was spoken straight to the devil and he knew his end was in the works so he began to look for this seed. Eve’s first born, Cain killed her second born, Abel and so began the devil’s onslaught on mankind being born into sin with only the knowledge of God and not His presents. This begs the question; why did it take so long for God to send His Son? Mankind needed to know it needed a savior, we needed to know we could never, no matter how hard we tried, could ever be that perfect seed that could overcome our sin and put the devil underfoot. The funny part is, we still can’t but Jesus did and that is what our salvation is based on. Jesus Christ and His finished work has crushed the head of satan and put him under His feet thereby saving all those that would believe. Isa.53:3-6, He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. What Jesus did from His birth to His ascension He did for us. As He hung on the cross suspended between Heaven and earth taking on the sins of this world and receiving the just punishment for those sins. Jesus as our spot free sacrifice has transferred His righteousness to us and His life paid the ultimate price to cover our sins once and for all. Now after God had poured out all His wrath on the body of Jesus Christ, Jesus cried out “it is finished” and for the first time the sacrifice was greater than the sin!

Jesus is the reason there is a way for all those that would believe. Believe you are saved in all ways; in your health, in your wealth, in your relationships, in your life! Jn3:17, "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. It was God’s will that He would send His Seed into this world to save it and through Him we would receive the gift of the Holy Spirit dwelling inside of us. What was lost in the garden was reclaimed through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Renew your mind to understand that it has all been done in the Son and there is nothing for you to do but receive that finished work. Fulfil God’s last will and testament and walk in what He prophesied would happen when His Seed would come into this world. Jesus is the reason and if you become Jesus conscious in every situation in your life you will fulfil what He has planned for you! Merry Christmas and good cheer to all.
